Home

This website is a central hub for all the postcode wildlife groups in Bristol, UK, the first of which was the BS3 Wildlife group. This group was born from the original, My Wild Bedminster project, which aimed to increase local biodiversity and raise people’s awareness of the wildlife around them. The group and project inspired other groups to be set up across the city.

All groups are run by volunteers and activities vary from group to group, and can include surveys of birds, butterflies and other animals, along with audits of parks and other green spaces, and the sharing of knowledge and wildlife sightings around Bristol.
